This lamp began as a study in repeating forms, showing how a simple shape. Beginning as a C-shaped curve, the shape gained depth through lamination and twisting, and length by linking to other shapes and branching. The eventual, cubical form of the lamp is in contrast to its individual parts, but the juxtaposition creates unique shadows, dependant on the orientation and thickness of the curves.
